You can now make a donation to New York’s Venison Donation Program through your DECALS licensing agent.
Every dollar donated to the program will provide four servings of nutritious venison to those in need. It’s easy to do, just donate a dollar or more when you buy your hunting or fishing license. You don’t have to be a sportsman to participate and anyone can donate wherever licenses are sold. One deer provides approximately 160 serving of ground venison , which is distributed through local food banks throughout New York State. This program has resulted in 1.5 million served in the past five years. Your licensing agent also has a list of participating meat processors.
